If you have a free space in your agenda (and if you don't, do it, it's a blast), write this down: Casa Decor 2021, the great appointment of interior design in Madrid, which is now in its 55th edition.
It is one of the most attractive plans I have found looking for what to see or what to visit this month. You can visit it now and it will be open until June 27th. until June 27th.
What is Casa Decor 2021
If you like decoration and interior design, I'm sure it won't be the first year you visit this event. Besides, the talent and the amount of ideas you get is brutal.
And if you've never heard of it before, that's okay. I'll catch you up in a minute.
This is the most important event in the sector, where you can see proposals from proposals from prestigious interior designers, furniture, textiles, materials, etc., and other professionals: architects, designers, landscapers, multidisciplinary artists... and other professionals: architects, designers, landscape designers, multidisciplinary artists...
All of them working in a collaborative space, on projects in which creativity and talent prevail.creativity and talent.
To give you an idea: imagine that you enter a magnificent building (I'll tell you more about it in a moment, because it's important) in which the spaces have been divided. And each of these spaces is designed by a professional interior designer following the latest trends.
All you are going to see are proposals with their own name. Authors and brands. The latest in the sector, gathered under the same roof. Do you get the picture? A luxury.
From the first minute you realize that it's going to be an experience. And a great source of ideas if you like decorating and taking care of your home in detail.
The place: the House of Tomás Allende
The location of the event is one of its keys. Throughout all its editions, the event has been held in different buildings, always unique, historic or architecturally interesting buildings.
Well, this year's edition takes us to the House of Tomás Allende, on the corner of Plaza de Canalejas and Carrera de San Jeronimo, built in the early 19th century and an example of regionalist architecture. the early nineteenth century and an example of the so-called regionalist architecture.
You are going to notice (because it is impossible not to) the tower that forms the corner of the building. the tower that shapes the corner of the building. And also in the carved wooden gazebo, made of Cuban mahogany made of Cuban mahogany, which is on the facade of the Carrera de San Jeronimo. An amazing work of cabinetmaking.
Can you see why location is part of the Casa Decor experience?
Those 5000 m2 building, with a commercial first floor, six floors and an impressive terrace overlooking the center of Madrid, will house the spaces decorated by the interior designers that you are going to visit.
If you want to see more, I can recommend you to review the buildings of the previous editions, because they are all a dream.
What will you see at Casa Decor 2021?
As I said, trends. Professionals challenge themselves to create comfortable, pleasant creation of comfortable, pleasant spaces to live in.
And, in addition, with the latest innovations in technology applicable to domestic spaces and all oriented to sustainability, something that has become an unstoppable trend in recent years.
Living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, dressing rooms... Public and conceptual spaces. There are even proposals for passageways and terraces. And much, much innovation: home automation is incorporated into our lives.
Here are some examples of proposals that you will be able to see:
Soothing, sober and sophisticated bathrooms, with the latest materials and technological solutions to save energy and technological solutions to save energy and resources.
Check out the Body Dryer Slim in sand color, by. @darid_bdabsolutely integrated into the space.
Now, imagine radiators. But forget what you know, because the proposal is to design them and transform them into sculptural objects. Like the one in this kitchen by @dosdeinteriorismo designed by @tubesradiatori.
I was also impressed by the proposal of @muherstudioproposal, conceived as a journey inspired by the four seasons and based on environmental protection.
And a recommendation: pay attention to every detail. For example, in this space by @danishdesignplusspainwhich uses pieces from iconic Danish designers of the 20th century added to those of others from more recent generations.
What to look out for? Easy, everything: the bio-fireplace, the lamps, the upholstered walls, the Whishbone chairs, the sofa and the leather armchairs... All Danish design.
Would you like to visit Casa Decor 2021? I won't miss it
You know that I am passionate about decoration and architecture, especially if it has a trendy touch. For example, check out this post about Parisian architecture. I love the French touch!
And, without wanting to take the limelight away from the stage, I always try to go according to the place where I move. What do you think about this necklace combo that is sweeping the store?
In any case, I do not miss this appointment with interior design. Brands, trends, colors, lifestyle... You will return home with lots of ideas and, above all, desire to make changes and renovate your home.
Are you planning to visit Casa Decor 2021 or have you already done so? I would love to hear from you what has caught your attention the most. I'm sure it's got your head spinning!
