Feel-good movies: 5 movies with a good vibe to rush through summer

Feel-good movies: 5 movies with a good vibe to rush through summer

It's getting closer! This year, as much as I was looking forward to summer, I'm planning to to make the most of what's left of my free time.. And I'm going to do it by making the most of the little things. Shall I give you an example? Movie and couch time. Today I'm going to tell you about my feel-good movies movies.

I'm sure you have yours too: those movies that you always love you always like and never get tired of, even if you've seen them a lot of times.

Do you want to know what are my favorite titles for those summer afternoons when there's nothing to do but... enjoy? when there's nothing to do but... enjoy?

Come on, I'll tell you about it.

Movies that never fail: these are my top 5 feel-good movies favorites

I don't know if it's the same for you, but I relax a lot watching movies that have one goal: to make you feel good. have one goal: to make you feel good, transmit you good vibes and that when the The endyou are left with a smile on your face a smile on your face and a good feeling in your body.

That, and I must have eaten a bowl of popcorn. That every little bit helps 😉

Mamma Mia (2008)

I will never get tired of watching this movie. For me it represents a summer that never ends, with all the ingredients that bring me happiness: Mediterranean light, the sun, the sea, music that never goes out of style, an eternal party and those wonderful seventies styles...

On my personal podium is the first movie, with a Meryl Streep in a state of grace. Although in what's left of the summer I'm going to give the 2018 sequel a chance, Mamma Mia, here we go againwith some of the cast of the previous one (especially Amanda Seyfried's three "parents") and the participation of Cher as a stylish grandmother. Cher as a stylish grandmother.

I haven't seen it yet, but but it shows promise.

2. In The Heights (2021)

Undoubtedly, one of the premieres of the year and the musical of the summer the musical of the summer, based on the Broadway original with lyrics and music by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

This time, the good vibes move to New York (a city I love above all things) (a city I love above all things) and to the Washington Heights neighborhood, with a strong Latin accent.

A film that recaptures the atmosphere of the streets at its best: lots of rhythm and a beautiful story, that of a neighborhood store whose owner dreams of a better life. whose owner dreams of a better life. Laughter and tears are guaranteed.

And what else do I look for? You know! The styling. In this case, the movie reflects the best of the street weara variety of ripped jeans, lots of sneakers and fashion jogger fashion elevated to its maximum expression.

(In other occasions I put the spotlight on jewelry: here I told you about the coolest necklaces in the history of cinema).

3. Under the Tuscan Sun (2003)

Whenever I think of movies feel-good some romantic one pops up.

And this one, even though it's a little old, it's one of my first places. It is the story of an American writer who, after a traumatic divorce, goes on vacation in Italy for a few days, where she falls in love again.

The trick is that she falls in love... with a house. A villa half in ruins, as she feels, so she sets to work to restore it, and along the way she finds herself.

Of course there is love, but above all a gallery of wonderful characters that will make you want to go to Italy too. you too want to go to Italy. If not to live, at least to spend some time there.

Or, if you're staying at home, you can always go for a country look. A light dress and a hat to protect you from the sun and you'll be ready for a trip to Pisa, Florence or Siena. Pisa, Florence or Siena.

Renting a car and getting lost on the roads of Italy is an appetizing plan. You have to dream, don't you?

4. Little Miss Sunshine (2006)

It's another movie that never gets old and that I can watch over and over again, because this atypical family this atypical family always brings a lot of smiles to my face.

Their trip to California in the yellow Volkswagen, to support the youngest of the family in the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant, is quite an epic. A road movie that always leaves me with a very good taste in my mouth and a I'm looking forward to another couple of hours more.

And it also makes me want to take the plunge and hit the road. to throw the blanket over my head and hit the road, with my looks comfortable and ready for adventure.

Yesterday (2019)

Another highly recommended musical comedy. A crazy movie, with parallel reality included, in which the Beatles never existed. the Beatles never existed and an amateur singer looking for success appropriates the band's songs.

Maybe because the screenwriter is Richard Curtis, the same of others that I liked a lot such as About time y Love Actually. And if I go further back, Notting Hill y Four Weddings and a Funeral, other feel-good movies that I've seen lots of times.

A film that inspires me to think about styling preppy for the fall that is already approaching.

What movies inspire you? Tell me what are your feel-good movies and I include them in my list for when I want to see something that left me smiling for a long time.
