I am already rubbing my hands just thinking that there is less left for the premiere of the fifth season of La Casa de Papel. Is there anything more entertaining than robbery movies and series?
I don't know about you, but I got really hooked on the Professor, Tokyo, Denver, Berlin, Nairobi, Rio... and all those that came after.
And in a few weeks we have new chapters! Note: early September, the first installment. And later another: in December.
To whet your appetite, today I'm going to tell you about some of the heist movies that I liked the most. Those that, from time to time, I repeat because they never expire. They are always a good option to sit in front of the TV with a bowl of popcorn.
Shall I tell you what they are?
My 5 favorite heist movies : movie robberies and robberies
There are many and very good ones, so I assume that I am going to leave out some marvel that surely should be on this list.
But as I want to summarize, I am going to tell you 5 heist movies that are liked for different reasons. With plots of robberies and robberies , with intelligent and very skilled thieves, with jewels, paintings, safes and a lot of action.
And if you like the combination of cinema and jewelry, read here which are the coolest necklaces in the history of cinema.
And now, let's talk about robberies:
1. Ocean's 8 (2018)
It is the last film in the saga, with the peculiarity that it stars women... thieves!
A golden opportunity to see divas like Cate Blanchet, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihana... and more. Con artists and thieves, each with their specialty, who organize to steal a diamond necklace (from Cartier no less) valued at one hundred million dollars.

The first movie was a hoot. Ocean's Eleven (2001) is unforgettable due to the combination of George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt, a cast of luxury thieves who, in addition to giving the coup, put the audience in their pockets.
Then came Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007), which held the level (although the former is a unique gem).
And finally, this female spin-off that has lived up to the previous movies.
2. The Thomas Crown Secret (1999)
In this case, I'm going to talk about the version starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo, which is the most recent one in my memory.
Although it would be fair if I also named you the original version, from 1968, with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, which was titled The Thomas Crown Affair. The arguments of both are a little different, but the base is the same in both: a robbery.
In the old version, it's about robbing a bank. In modern, a millionaire Monet.
But the key to both movies is the main character, Thomas Crown. An attractive, intelligent, trickster and slippery millionaire. And a female character, that of the independent researcher who follows her intuition and tries to hunt it down. Wonderful, both Russo and Dunaway.
